When we’re in the mood to celebrate, we tend to look for the perfect meal to create it. As a result, we will often end up with only the best of the best. The problem? When most of the ingredients are at the top, we are left with a dish that doesn’t stand out from the crowd.

A dish with a strong personality can be incredibly boring. One of the most famous examples of this is the dish called Chicken Tikka Masala. This dish is loaded with spices and it is usually served with rice. It is so delicious and you want the best for it, but you still end up with a bland dish. That’s where the word “tikka” comes in.

In terms of its taste, not much has changed. It is still chicken curry with lots of red chilli and spices – but it does not make you want to lick the spoon. If you want to add more spice, you have to add it in the rice and mix it with the gravy.
