When we started our website, we looked at how many things we needed to add. Then we started adding. Soon enough we were having a lot of fun. I love the way we are adding to the website—we talk about other things and try to find interesting ways to paint them.
I’m always amazed by the amount of art that is being created in India. I think that’s partly because of the sheer amount of homes being built there and also because of the high quality of the work. So much of it seems to be either incredibly high quality work or so artistic that it seems an obvious choice for an international art house.
There’s an art of creating art, of course. But there’s also an art of using art in an interesting way. That’s what makes the work in India so special. In India, the majority of homes aren’t just paint-covered walls. They are also filled with things, including furniture, books, and paintings. So, if you think you can do a great job of painting a wall, you probably should.

For most of us the quality is not the focus. The focus is on the ability to paint it well. There are a lot of people who do just fine without the help of special brushes or high-quality paints. Its just that, in the end, theres no real point.
